Staff accountant’s responsibilities include month-end closing activities for many leaders and ensuring proper review of arrears, preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual reconciliation, and balance sheet analysis.

This position will support management in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, processes, and policies.

On the audit front, the staff accountant will manage the department’s response to internal and external audit requirements and will also ensure compliance with Sox requirements for all geographic / activities handled by shared services.

This position will also play an important role in promoting system/process development within the department to ensure ongoing efficiency and control improvement.

The successful candidate will have a keen desire to innovate processes and exceed expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• com/m.com/mba/ca/cwa
• Previous experience in accounts payable accounts receivable or another accounting process is a strong plus
• Strong interpersonal skills – including written and oral communication skills.
• Zeal towards operational excellence/process improvement & simplifications
• Excellent knowledge of financial controls and processes, us GAAP knowledge, plus advanced level excel plus will be literate.

• MBA / CA / CWA
• Ability to deal with ambiguity
• Exceptional written and oral communication
• Ability to break through and solve complex problems in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Good organizational skills, including priority and time management, ability to think and act strategically and strategically
• Intermediate (e.g. vlookup)/Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Write/edit VBA) Basic to advanced knowledge of SQL
