Salary: $35,000-$45,000 (Remote), $40,000 – $50,000 (DMV)

Overview

Are you a conservative or libertarian who also has a passion for energy and the environment? Never before has America’s energy and environmental policy been so important as millions suffer under astronomically high energy prices due largely in part to the Biden Administration’s radical climate policies. CFACT is looking for a National Field Coordinator to manage on-the-ground recruitment at college and university campuses around the nation as part of CFACT’s Collegians program.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with student activists and leaders at colleges and universities.
  • Travel to campuses across the nation to recruit new students, document events, and organize activism.
  • Manage CFACT’s Driessen Fellows student internship program.
  • Support CFACT’s Director of Collegians with creative content development, issue focus, and student outreach strategies.
  • Develop technological and social media skills by managing CFACT’s Collegian’s social media and email marketing accounts.
  • Support CFACT staff during meetings and events.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Recent graduate or 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Alignment with CFACT’s mission of promoting free-market environmentalism and sound energy and conservation policy from a conservative/libertarian perspective.
  • Passion for and awareness of political issues and current events, particularly energy policy, environmental policy, and property rights.
  • Experience with college activism, political clubs, or event organization on college and university campuses.
  • Willing to learn new issues and new skills.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to motivate volunteers and activists.
  • Well-organized, personally motivated, working well with others and remotely.
  • Desire/willing to travel around the nation 4-6 weeks (not all at once) per semester with travel expenses paid for by CFACT.
