TS Government To Provide 3 Lakh Jobs In Next 4 Years – KTR In Assembly
The state government said that it aims to provide 3 lakh jobs in the electronics manufacturing sector of Telangana during the next four years.
State IT and Industry Minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) made the revelation while answering the questions raised by the legislators on the incentives being given to the electronics manufacturing sector during the Question Hour in the current budget session of the Legislative Assembly.

Speaking on the occasion, KTR said that more than 250 companies in the electronics manufacturing sector are providing employment to 1.6 lakh people in the state. The IT Minister said that the state government has made electronics manufacturing and research and development its priority area.

He also said that the state has also introduced a special electronics policy to cater to the specific needs of the industry.
KTR said that the state government has also initiated a fuel reserve policy to develop R&D capabilities and fuel reserve systems from the year 2020 to 2030. Outside the ORR project, two electronics clusters are spread over 912 acres of land in the state,” KTR said as he chalked out. Rs. 75,000 crore investment over the next four years in the state.
KTR also said that the state government has formed a task force for the development of the electronics manufacturing sector, which will help in providing job opportunities to local youth in all electronic vehicle manufacturing companies.

“The state received an investment of Rs 23,000 crore during the last six years. Before its formation, there were only 50000 jobs in this sector and after it was created, there has been an increase of 1 lakh in jobs.
