Uttar Pradesh Government Job: The Uttar Pradesh government has approved proposals to fill more than 58,000 vacant posts in gram panchayats ahead of the 2022 assembly elections. According to the Panchayati Raj Department, the government has approved proposals to appoint 58,189-gram panchayat assistants and data entry operators.
The recruitment process will start soon and will continue till September 10. This will be the biggest contract-based recruitment ever since the formation of the BJP government in the state. So far, the government has provided employment to 47,500 people on a contract basis.
How Much Will Be The Salary
According to the Panchayati Raj Department, assistants and accountants will get a monthly salary of Rs 6,000. The government has sanctioned 16,000 posts of Gram Panchayat Officers and Village Development Officers, out of which only 10,000 are functional.

There are 33,577-gram panchayat buildings on the ground and 24,617 are still under construction. A ‘Jan Seva Kendra’ will be set up in each Panchayat office and a separate space will be allotted for the banking correspondent ‘Sakhi’.
When Will The Recruitment Process Start
The process to apply for these posts will start on July 30 and will continue till September 10.
Uttar Pradesh Government Job: Qualification
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed Intermediate examination from UP Board. However, those doing any course parallel to it can also apply for these posts.
Uttar Pradesh Government Job: Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years can apply for these posts. SC, ST, and OBC candidates will get an age relaxation of five years as per government rules. Age will be calculated as of 1st July 2021.
Along with this, let us tell you that the candidates will be able to apply in the same Gram Panchayat of which they are residents.
Uttar Pradesh Government Job: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their marks obtained in Intermediate and Interview. Candidates will submit their application form offline in the office of Gram Panchayat, Development Block, or District Panchayat Raj Officer. After this, after checking their eligibility and related certificates, they will get recruitment to the posts.
