Indian Railway Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria

The candidate’s age should be between 15 to 24 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided for reserved category candidates.

Candidates must have passed the class 10th (Matriculation) examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from the recognized board.

Indian Railway Recruitment 2021: Pay Scale / Stipend

Selected candidates appointed as apprentices will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of one year and will be paid a stipend during training at the prescribed rate as per the extant rules governed by the respective State Governments.

Railway Recruitment 2021: Selection Process

Selection will be on the basis of a merit list which will be prepared to take the average of the percentage of marks obtained by applicants in both Matriculations (with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks) and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both. There will be no written test or viva. Selected applicants are required to undergo apprenticeship training for a period of one year.
