Being a Level-10 pay order job in the Pay Pattern as per the 7th Pay Commission General Central Service, Group A, Gazetted, Non-ministerial, the monthly salary offered to the selected applicants is Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500. Along with it, the selected applicants will get other perks such as dearness salary, travel allowance, and others.

For the eligibilities, a degree in law from a recognized university and seven years of practice at the Bar in pursuing criminal cases are mandatory. The age limit cannot exceed 35 years.

DUTIES required from Public Prosecutor in the Central Bureau of Investigation:

*Public Prosecutor will be accountable for conducting the performance of cases in the courts, attending matters arising from or on court cases/references, and providing legal advice regarding cases investigated by the Branch.

*Public Prosecutor will also attend to other works as prescribed by the Department from time to time.

Aspirants have been required to pay a fee of ₹25 only, either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI payment or by using the net banking office of the SBI or by using a visa/master credit/debit card. No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are expected to pay the full designated fee.
