DBS Virtual Career Fair Offers Over 140 Tech Jobs for Women in Singapore

Tech Jobs for Women in Singapore | The bank said on Tuesday (25 May) that more than 140 engineering jobs will be offered to women at the virtual career fair organized by DBS.

Applications are now open for the following five roles: Engineering Lead, Solution Architect, ReactJS Developer, Full Stack Developer, and Software Development in Engineering Tests.

The bank said that applicants will undergo an 80-minute online assessment to assess their technical and planning capabilities. These online assessments will have to be submitted by 8 June.

Shortlisted applicants will be requested to the DBS Women’s in Technical Virtual Career Fair to be held on June 12, where people will be given more knowledge about possible career development pathways and engage in virtual interviews.

Other banks are also pushing tech hiring.

OCBC Bank plans to increase its 100-strong global transaction banking workforce by 50 percent in Singapore by the end of next year, including specialized staff who can help develop products and services.

Citigroup said it would add about 2,300 employees and invest in state-of-the-art technology at its wealth management centers in Hong Kong and Singapore.
